Interpersonal Behavior

You may refuse to follow directions or suggestions, especially if you think the person is pushing you.

You may rebel against power and authority

It may be important to you to be different from others, to do things in your own way and ignore how others have done them.

You may be oppositional, argumentative. You may disagree for the sake of disagreeing

You may have rigid boundaries.

You may want to make sure you are not taken advantage of.

You may be over-protective of others, especially against authority.

You may enjoy shocking people with your unique or defiant positions.

You may enjoy playing devil’s advocate.

You may be consumed with anger and rage at people, especially those with power.

 

Organizational Behavior

You may not like to work under others and you may defy those in formal positions of authority

You may defy a group you are in. You may insist on doing things your own way, going against whatever the group decides.

You may be an outsider or black sheep in a group.

You may enjoy gossiping about how badly those in authority are handling things.

You may try to engage others in rebelling against authority, maybe splitting off and leaving an organization.

 

Societal Behavior

You may see those in power as evil and social change as a struggle against them

You may like to rebel against the status quo.

You may be especially interested in fighting against destructive things in society, and you may join activist groups that do that.

 

Motivation

You may be afraid of being controlled or harmed—attacked, violated, judged, taken advantage of, betrayed, etc.

You may be afraid of being taken in or fooled.
